The Mass Insight Education and Research Institute is a nonprofit organization, founded in 1997, that is focused on improving student achievement in public schools through the effective implementation of standards-based reform.

Their work supports and is informed by close partnerships with 30 school districts in Massachusetts (the Coalition for Higher Standards), representing more than 300,000 students. Their programs concentrate on school reform in Massachusetts, but have been held up as national models and increasingly will support effective implementation of higher standards in other states.

Their programs:

Great Schools Campaign
The Great Schools Campaign brings together school,  community, and business leaders to urge the Commonwealth to continue its education reform efforts, to ensure that all students have access to a high-quality education.

The Boston Business Journal supports the creation of the Great Schools Campaign’s proposed Commonwealth Turnaround Collaborative. read more››
