Free State Project

Free State Project
Liberty in Our Lifetime

The Free State Project is a plan in which 20,000 or more liberty-oriented people will move to
New Hampshire, where they may work within the political system to reduce the size and scope of government. The success of the Free State Project would likely entail reductions in burdensome taxation and regulation, reforms in state and local law, an end to federal mandates, and a restoration of constitutional federalism, demonstrating the benefits of liberty to the rest of the nation and the world.

Republic of New Hampshire
This website has been drafted for the purpose of explaining the reasons which
compel us to advise such a drastic step. It is hoped that you will consider the evidence in the same spirit of reflection with which it has been presented.

Rhode Islanders for freedom and sovereignty
(Excellent website!  Is in need of active folks to keep it running.)

Blueprint for a New Confederation
This site is based on "As the People Want It, Blueprint for a new confederation" published by Fremskrittspartiets Utredningsinstitutt, an independent research institute dedicated to political and economic research and analysis in Oslo, Norway in 1992. (ISBN 82-7500-007-6).
The intention of this site is to present a model constitution based on the established concepts of popular sovereignty and knowledge gained from the newer field of Public Choice economics. It is not a Public Choice economics paper as such, but it does try to put to practical use some of the insights provided by this academic discipline.

American Secession Project
Dedicated to placing secession in the mainstream of political thought as a viable solution to contemporary problems.

Sovereignty International
Mission Statement

Sovereignty International Incorporated exists to promote the belief that best government is empowered only by the consent of those who are governed. The consent of those who are governed can only be expressed by free and open elections of officials who are exclusively responsible for enacting public policy. We believe this bedrock principle of government and societal organization is the foundation of individual freedom, private property ownership, free markets and national sovereignty.

Sovereignty International works to advance these ideas throughout the United States and the international community, particularly through participation in United Nations activities, conferences and workshops, publications, international radio broadcasts, and the Internet. It is our belief that the people of all nations are entitled to exercise their inalienable rights through their own governments which they control.

We further believe that governments must first recognize and respect the sovereignty of their own individual citizens before they can respect the sovereignty of other nations. Finally, we believe that a world of nations in which all governments are empowered only by the consent of those who are governed, offers the best hope of advancing the health, happiness, and prosperity of all mankind.

Sovereignty International Incorporated is a not-for-profit, educational (501(c)(3)), non-membership organization. Individuals may support our work by direct contributions, and by subscription to our publication and Internet services.

PeopleFirst!Maine is a loose alliance of Maine citizens and groups from around the state developing a program to challenge corporate power in Maine - to return that power over our lives to the people of Maine.

Corporations are not people. If you cut them, they do not bleed. Corporations are very powerful tools and it is our aim to return them to that status and to refuse to subject ourselves to their control over our lives, liberties and happiness.

New England Futures

New Century, New Game

"New Century, New Game" is the theme for a series of six major articles on New England’s future that were written by the Citistates Group journalists Neal Peirce and Curtis Johnson. The articles were released on a monthly basis, from October 2005 to March 2006, but are not time sensitive and are still available for newspapers/magazines who wish to run the series.
